Learn More About The Blue Chip Cameos In Billions Season 6

Screen Rant has the honor of presenting an exclusive clip celebrating the home release of Billions season 6, which arrives on DVD June 14. Though the series lost star Damian Lewis last season, it has been going strong as it showcases the rivalry between Corey Stoll’s Mike Prince and Paul Giamatti’s Chuck Rhoades. It even received a renewal for season 7 soon after, confirming that the exploits of the hedge fund industry have yet more to explore.

One thing that sets Billions apart is its iconic “blue chip cameos,” consisting of talented and infamous celebrities from various industries who make their presence known and bring legitimacy to proceedings. Over the course of several seasons, the Showtime series has welcomed the likes of billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, who rubbed elbows on occasion with Axe, and WWE superstar Becky Lynch, who put on an impressive performance in order to boost the morale of the employees at the hedge fund.

In the exclusive Billions clip provided by Showtime, we see Wendy (Maggie Siff, Sons of Anarchy) in the midst of yet another blue chip cameo – this time the one from episode 8, “The Big Ugly.” She is shown once again working in tandem with soccer player Megan Rapinoe on her “Athlete Performance” program. Only this time, viewers are given additional information about Rapinoe’s resume, including her two FIFA World Cups and Olympic gold medal, as well as context about her abilities and activism. Check out the full clip below:

While the bid for the Olympics may not have worked out exactly as the team expected in “The Big Ugly,” an appearance by Megan Rapinoe is something the series will have forever. Not only that, but as is clear in the scene, the camaraderie between Wendy and her idol was vibrant and compelling regardless of whatever else may have gone down. Furthermore, it’s particularly exciting to see how the lines between reality and fiction blur when big-name celebrities from all walks of life occupy the same space as Chuck, Michael and company.

In addition to containing every episode of the sixth season, the four-disc DVD collection of Billions includes two bonus clips and an exclusive featurette. Billions season 6 kicks off as the dust clears from Axe’s (Damian Lewis, Homeland) departure. With Michael Prince (Corey Stoll, West Side Story) assuming his place, Chuck (Paul Giamatti) must develop a new strategy that is keener and more sophisticated than before.
